Did you have a chance to write down the questions from part 1, HERE? Could you find a common theme threaded throughout your responses? What are you really desiring to achieve in your health for the New Year?

Today, I would like to focus on Wellness.

The Global Wellness Institute (GWI) defines wellness as “the active pursuit of activities, choices, and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health”. Wellness is not a static state of being. It requires an active pursuit and intention to achieve. With this being said, in order to establish your health vision for 2024, we must evaluate the current state of the dimensions of wellness in your own life.

Let’s take a moment to consider the following dimensions of wellness in your life: Physical Health, Mental Health, Emotional Health, Spiritual Health, Social Health, and Environmental Health. I created a worksheet that you can print out or fill in on your digital device that will allow you to take a closer look at your state of health in each of these dimensions and set one action step towards increasing or maintaining your wellness in this area.

Now, the number of dimensions of wellness differs according to popular opinion in the health and wellness space. Other individuals or groups like to include financial wellness, intellectual wellness, occupational wellness, etc. I have left two additional slots on the worksheet for you to add in other areas that are important to you.

If you would like to receive the free worksheet that goes along with this post, grab it from the resource shop here!
